A cosy holiday cottage in Keswick, the Lake District
About the Cottage
Slee Cottage takes its name from my great-grandfather, William Slee. Our ancestors have lived in Slee Cottage since 1906 and in the last century it has been a much loved family home. We take great pride in Slee Cottage being a self catering holiday home and we look after and maintain the cottage ourselves.

Dining & Living Area
The dining area has a solid pine oval dining table with an outlook through patio doors to the garden. In the living area there are two large comfortable sofas, just purchased in 2018. The 28″ TV (out of date photo on the web, but I don’t know how to update it!) has freeview and integrated DVD Player. There is a Radio and CD Player. Also, a well stocked book case — with all the Wainwright’s — and lots of other local walking guides/maps and a games box.
Our enclosed garden is stocked with scented shrubs and climbers and the flagged patio area is furnished with table and chairs. After a busy day come back to the cottage and enjoy sitting in the garden and watch the sparrows have a dust bath in the lane!
There is car parking for one car. A permit for a second car is available for a small supplement (see ‘Extras’). The Bus Station is less than 5 minutes away, so have a relaxing holiday and leave your car parked at the cottage.
